Consistency is key. Your family member will have a consistent therapy schedule along with a consistent therapist. We do not put clients on hold or allow for therapist turn over. 

We believe that progress is made easier when it is functional and interesting to the client. We often integrate "magma" comics and other high interest items/activities. 

We have seen progress by seeing our clients for shorter, more frequent sessions. Our typical session length is 30-45 minutes, several times a week. 

We have completed dozens of applications for the state program- STAP. This program provides AAC devices and accessories (including cell phones!) free of charge to qualified residents of Texas. 

We have helped countless adults with various conditions improve their speech intelligibility. This helps others understand them in everyday speech but also helps devices, such as Alexa and speech to text, improve their accuracy.

While there are many SLPs that will treat all areas of social skills, we believe in neurodiversity and not "fixing" things that cause stress to the client. For example, eye contact has been proven to be painful for some Autistic children/adult. We provide trauma informed social skill interventions. 

There are many language skills that are needed in order for adults to complete the "adulting" tasks- like budgeting their money, schedules, meal preparation, etc.
